I can remember years ago when the politicians were talking about making housing affordable and wondering "how can they do that?". A house cost a certain amount to build and that's all there is to it.
Our elected officials figured out a way, by giving credit to people that could not afford to pay or had poor track records. If we don't stop this from happening right now, things cannot and will not improve no matter how big of a bailout there is.
